Full itinerary

Arrival in Tangier, the gateway to Morocco, and transfer to Chefchaouen, known for its iconic blue houses. You will have free time to stroll its alleys, visit Uta el-Hammam square and enjoy a traditional dinner. Depending on your arrival time, we will make a short stop in Tetouan.

A drive to Fez taking in the landscapes of the Rif, with views of green mountains and deep valleys. On arrival, a guided tour of the Fez el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its souks, craft workshops and monuments such as the Bou Inania madrasa and the Al Quaraouiyine University.

A visit to the Royal Palace, admiring its architecture from the outside, and to the Chouara tanneries, where the ancient tanning process can be seen from terraces above the dye pits. Then the Bou Inania madrasa. Free time in the afternoon to explore on your own or shop in the souks.

A journey to Merzouga crossing the High Atlas and passing towns such as Midelt, the gateway to the mountains. The route takes in mountain landscapes and fertile valleys before reaching the dunes of Erg Chebbi. At sunset, a camel ride to a Berber tent where you will spend the night.

Sunrise over the Sahara dunes and a traditional breakfast in the desert. A day to explore the area with optional activities: quad bike excursions, visits to hidden oases or guided walks. You can also learn about Berber traditions. In the afternoon, back to the tent for another night in the desert.

Sunrise at Erg Chebbi and a camel ride back to Merzouga. On to Rissani, with its historic medina and traditional market. Then the Todra Gorge, a canyon with 200-metre walls, and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Taourirt kasbah.

A visit to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and to the Telouet kasbah in the High Atlas. Crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass with panoramic mountain views. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon, with free time to explore the city.

A guided tour of historic Marrakech: the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, free time to wander the souks or visit the Majorelle Gardens.

A drive to coastal Essaouira with a stop at a local argan oil cooperative to see how it is produced. A free day to explore the medina, the sea ramparts or relax on the beaches. Water sports such as surfing or kitesurfing are also possible.

Breakfast and free time for last-minute shopping or a walk on the beach. Transfer to Marrakech airport for the flight home.
